WCHR helps first-time homebuyers of low-to-moderate income attain
their dream of owning a home. To be considered for one of WCHR’s
available listed homes, you must be a first-time homebuyer. Anyone
who has not owned a home as his or her primary residence within
the last three years is considered a first-time homebuyer. Your income must not exceed the HUD income guidelines listed
in the chart below; you must complete first-time
homebuyer classes before closing and you must earn enough
income to qualify for a mortgage.

* The 50%
and 80% refers to the percentage of the median income in the
Worcester County area that are eligible for our properties.
For example, if you are a single person who is looking into a
property and you make under 80% of the median income ($40,150),
then you would be considered 'eligible' for a property.
