Worcester Community Housing Resource's mission is to help create and preserve affordable housing and to initiate and support neighborhood revitalization in the greater Worcester area. Since 1994 we have proven ourselves to be a successful organization that meets its mission by development of our own projects and utilizing our Loan Fund to help meet the financial needs of other affordable housing developers. Our services are targeted to low and moderate income individuals in the great Worcester area.

Worcester is located in central Massachusetts, approximately 45 miles west of Boston. With a population of 175,000, Worcester is the second largest city in New England and has a history rich in industrial revolution manufacturing. Today Worcester contains an ethnically diverse population with the majority of employment positions coming from the health care, education and biotechnology industries. As with most cities, Worcester has many affordable housing and neighborhood revitalization needs and WCHR is committed to meeting those needs in order to make Worcester a world-class city for all of its residents.
